On October 12 the management of the district held a gala reception in honor of Mother's Day. Representatives of family labor dynasties in different spheres of activity were invited to the solemn event. Mothers gave their daughters not only kindness and care, but also experience, skills and love for the chosen profession.
The Chairman of the Executive Committee Anatoly Markevich expressed his sincere gratitude to women for their work, noting that Mother's Day is a holiday of warmth and care.
The meeting began with planting a tree in the alley of the Mother in Sovetskaya street.
Then the participants went to a new preschool education establishment – nursery school No. 12. The head of the Novogrudok Department of education Oleg Anikevich met the women there.
The next site visited by women, became the Museum under the open sky "Lost Heritage". The Museum with models of nine architectural monuments of Novogrudok, which have not survived to our time, is located near the hotel "Novogrudok". The chief specialist of the Department of culture of the Executive Committee Natalia Zhishko told about the most important objects of Novogrudok architecture.
Honoring mothers continued in the House-Museum of Adam Mickiewicz. The women took part in the entertainment program, which was prepared for them by the workers of the Vselyub house of culture.
The Chairman of the District Council of deputies Sergey Misharin and Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee Svetlana Korolko congratulated the participants of the reception.
– it has already become a good tradition to meet in this format on the eve of Mother's Day, – said Sergey Misharin. - Mother is a close and dear person. Her boundless love serves us as a guide and guard throughout life. Thanks to mom, we go through life, always feeling her attention and care. We owe our mothers an immense debt of gratitude. I sincerely congratulate you, dear women, on the holiday and wish you family well-being, health and peace.
On the eve of Mother's Day in Novogrudok there is a good tradition to award mothers with many children with the mother's orders -awards symbolizing the high state and public recognition of motherhood. The awarded women were Elena Gorodok and Natalia Glazko.
Positive emotions, gifts and flowers will delight mothers for a long time and remind them of this festive meeting.
A wonderful gift for all participants of the reception was the performance of amateur artists.
