The district pedagogical conference, which is held annually on the eve of the new academic year, was held in Novogrudok on August 29. The results of the district education system work for the last academic year were summed up, unused resources were analyzed and ways of development in the 2018/2019 academic year were determined. The main event was a ceremony of honoring the best teachers of Novogrudok, experts and partners of the Department of education of Executive Committee. During the event 80 awards found their masters.

In the foyer of the District Center of culture and folk art interactive exhibitions and workshops on arts and crafts were organized. Especially popular among visitors was a mini-Maxi puzzle with the image of the Novogrudok coat of arms

The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Novogrudok district Executive Committee Anatoly Markevich, Chairman of the district Council of deputies Sergey Misharin, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Olga Popko, Chairman of the Grodno regional organization of the Belarusian trade Union of education and science Vera Grishechko, Deputy Chairmen of the Executive Committee Svetlana Korolko and Alexander Grits, Archpriest Anatoly Gerasimuk, veterans of pedagogical work, heads of district public associations, representatives of organizations and agencies which the Department of education cooperates with, heads and teachers of educational establishments.

- Novogrudok Land has always been famous for its teachers, – said Anatoly Markevich. - Thank you very much, dear teachers, for your effective work, for the contribution to the achievements of our Novogrudok land.

The head of the district and other guests expressed sincere gratitude to the veterans of pedagogical work and all teachers of Novogrudok Land for their hard work in the field of education, wished success to young teachers and congratulated all the present on the beginning of the new school year.

Oleg Anikevich, the head of the Department of Education of Novogrudok district Executive Committee, informed about the results of the development of the district education system in the last academic year and the tasks for the 2018/2019 academic year.

The title of "Teacher of the year-2018" was awarded the teacher of Handicraft of school №5 Lyudmila Makarevich and teacher of History of Lubcha secondary school Yuri Kalabuhin.

The Chairman of the Novogrudok district Executive Committee Anatoly Markevich was awarded with the diploma of the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus. The award was presented by Vera Grishechko.

According to the results of the last academic year more than 70 teachers and educators were awarded.

Teachers of Novogrudok welcomed their young colleagues for whom the 2018/2019 academic year will be the first in their professional life.

During the celebration the organizers of the 1st stage of the Belarus Biathlon federation Cup were honored, for the preparing and conducting the competitions at a high level.

The pedagogical conference ended with a festive concert.
