Novogrudok Ball of Orthodox Youth was Dedicated to the Year of Native Land and the 1030th Anniversary of the Christianization of Rus

On July 29, the Orthodox youth ball took place in Novogrudok. This year the event was dedicated to the Year of Native Land and the 1030th anniversary of the adoption of Christianity by Rus

In recent years, the festival of grace took place in winter. This year, it was decided to postpone the ball for the summer period, so that everyone could enjoy the beauty of the ballroom dance performed by the dance group "Harmony" and Novogrudok youth. Traditionally, the organizer was the parish of the Orthodox SS. Boris and Gleb Church

The literary and musical part was held in the Center of Culture and Folk Art. Spiritual songs and dance performances were accompanied by stories about the Holy Prince Vladimir and temples of Novogrudok.

The dance part of the event was held in the town’s square. The choreographer Tatyana Kovalko guided the training of the participants of the main program. The audience had a chance to watch a dance for any taste: countrydance, mazurka, Pas d'Espagne, classic waltz and folk dances. The audience could not only watch, but participate in various dance games.
