On September 21, the grand finale of the European Mobility Week took place in Lenin’s square. The event was attended by the UNDP Resident Representative in Belarus Ms. Ioanna Kazana-Vishnevetskaya and Deputy Chairman of the Novogrudok district Executive Committee Ms. Svetlana Korolko.
– I am glad that there are so many caring people in Novogrudok, - said Joanna Kazana-Vishnevetskaya-People who choose activity, a healthy lifestyle and can do it in such a beautiful town. Cycling is very good. It is good for people's health, for nature and plus it is communication between people. We were glad to join this event and work together. Let your town grow and develop for people, for nature, for the world.
The most exciting moment is the awarding of eco-competitions winners. Gifts and souvenirs were presented to the winners and participants of the drawing contest "Ecotransport of the future" and videos "Green city of the future".
In the drawing competition the winners were Darya Yasinskaya (I), Veronica Barabulya (II), Juliana Pisaruk (III place). In the video contest the winners were Novogrudok State Agrarian College, Novogrudok State Trade-Economic College and State Agricultural Professional Lyceum.
The event ended with a bike ride on the route: Lenin’s square- Grabniki, where the wind generators installed-Lenin’s square.
