In October 5 kindergarten and day nursery No 12 of Novogrudok officially opened its doors to 190 kids. A new pre-school establishment was a real gift for little residents of Novogrudok. Spacious, light and cozy rooms, the pool, gym, musical and choreographic halls, a computer class, the modern medical and food block are waiting for kids.
About 5 million rubles was allocated for the construction and material and technical equipment of the new educational institution within the regional investment program. The kindergarten is located in a new district, where many young families with children live.
Many honored guests came to congratulate Novogrudok’s citizens on the opening of an important social facility: the Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Mr.Viktor Liskovich, Chairman of the Novogrudok District Executive Committee Mr.Anatoly Markevich, Head of the Department of Preschool Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Albina Davidovich, Head of the Main Department of Education of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Songin, representatives of enterprises and organizations of the town.
- Today is a wonderful day for Novogrudok: a new kindergarten is opening. I am sure that it will become a center for the development of talents of each child – said the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee Viktor Liskovich. – This is the fourth preschool educational institution opened in the region this year. Next year it is planned to open three new kindergartens. Conditions in all educational institutions are excellent
As it was noted by Mr.Liskovich, the focus is on the identification and development of talents and abilities of children. In Grodno region a regional campaign launched to find young talented athletes. Each student will have the opportunity to try themselves in twenty-three kinds of sport. Competitions will be held in classes, schools, at the district level, and the action will end with a regional holiday.
The Chairman of the district Executive Committee Mr. Anatoly Markevich congratulated the present on the opening of such a necessary educational institution for the district.
- The last kindergarten was opened in Novogrudok twenty-seven years ago, - said the head of the district. - The new kindergarten was another step to improve the quality of life of people, the youngest residents of the town. This is a unique pre-school institution, where there are just ideal conditions for the growth and development of children. They are the future of the town, the future of our country. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee, the Chairman of the Executive Committee Mr.Vladimir Kravtsov for the assistance in the construction of a new kindergarten. I wish children, parents and teachers good health, joy, creative work for the benefit of our native land and native Belarus.
The guests have prepared gifts. On behalf of the Regional Executive Committee Viktor Liskovich presented to the headmistress of kindergarten and day nursery No 12 Svetlana Katkova a certificate for the purchase of computer equipment. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee Anatoly Markevich - certificate for the purchase of toys.
Construction organizations of the district were engaged in construction of socially important object, the contribution was made also by teachers of educational institutions. Director of Novogrudok SMU Valery Serbin handed Svetlana Katkova a symbolic crystal key to the new kindergarten.
And here is the long-awaited moment-the red ribbon is cut. Children with their parents and kindergarten teachers entered their new home. And very soon they examined toys and modern sports equipment with enthusiasm, played and danced happily.
After the Grand opening, the guests of the event were able to see the material and technical base of the kindergarten.
For children’s safety a special play equipment installed on the playgrounds.
Quite a large swimming-pool has heated water and the floor. A heat supply system, which is built into the children's lockers, will easily dry clothes and shoes.
Kindergarten No12 is designed for 10 groups. Its infrastructure will allow kids to grow healthy and develop harmoniously. In the new educational institution, pre-school students will be able to play sports, music and choreography, learn to use modern technologies in the computer class.
One of the features of the new kindergarten is a large modern medical unit, which has a room for massage and inhalation, an Infirmary and even its own laboratory.
The new catering unit meets all the requirements and is equipped with the most modern equipment.
